The method
How it works
Calendar-day difference
The tool measures elapsed 24-hour UTC calendar periods between the two date boundaries.
Complete weeks
Total days are divided into complete seven-day blocks, with the remaining days shown separately.
Working days
The weekday total excludes Saturdays and Sundays. It does not know country-specific public holidays.

Frequently asked questions
Is the start date included?
The result measures elapsed time between the start of each date, so the start date itself is not counted as a completed day.
Are public holidays excluded from working days?
No. Only Saturdays and Sundays are excluded because public holidays differ by country and region.
Can the end date be earlier?
Yes. The tool still shows the absolute difference and tells you that the second date comes first.
